“What Shiree and I really enjoy is sitting at our consultation table designing and chatting with our customers and creating fabulous, beautiful, individual pieces of jewellery, jewellery that we know will become part of their lives and their chilrens’s lives.” Jo says with a smile that tells you she loves what they do.
Welcome to “To Hold & To Have” – A manufacturing & retail jewellery gallery on the Sunshine Coast.
“To Hold & To Have” is located at 98 King Street Buderim, opposite the beautiful 100 year old Wirreanda Park and surrounded by gorgeous cafes, antique shops and places to browse. Their onsite manufacturing workshop and gallery style retail store is open Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm, Saturday 8:30 – 12:30 and afterhours by appointment. The retail gallery has unique ranges of handmade, branded and fashion jewellery and the workshop provides a beauitul, inspiring place for your jewellery to be designed, created, repaired, remodelled and cared for.
To Hold & To Have is a multi award winning company having won the Australasian award for the Jewellery Association of Australia – “Bride to Be – Tradition With a Twist” jewellery category in 2014 and The Jewellery Industry Association “Best Small Retail Jeweller” Award in 2015.
Shiree & Jo both have Bachelor of Visual Arts Degrees and many years serving their industry. Their business philosophy is based on their life philosophy “relationships come first” – which in business means they are always listening to their customers, then adding their skills, knowledge and resources until they know they have exceeded their customers expectations. They wear their hearts on their sleeves and they keep it real.
Currently they also spend time teaching jewellery design and encourging senior students in local high schools. They sponsor high school jewellery design competitions which are used as fund raising events for the local school art departments. They are also members of their local Chamber of Commerce and Zonta organistaions and the business sponsors a gorgeous compassion child in Thailand.
They have each also travelled extensively with Jo having lived and worked overseas for several years. Shiree won apprentice of the year and a state medal of NSW as an apprentice. Jo has exhibited in the National Gallery of Victoria as a finalist in the Felix H. Mann Award.
Shiree & Jo share a common vision. Both hard working with a passion for quality jewellery and innovative design they developed “To Hold & To Have” with a desire to serve their community with integrity, excellence and love.
