Lest We Forget.

I could not be at a service this morning so instead, at the beautiful property I am staying at, on a hill top overlooking the south coast, early as the sun rose, I found the boundary peg and stood grateful for those who before my time, gave their days and their life to protect the boundaries of our nation and civilisation. Grateful for those who gave their lives for our freedom and praying for those that will live after us to continue to know this still. Freedom comes in all kinds of definitions mind, body and soul.

So very thankful for today and for days like today and this weekend when in peace we can stop, gather with ones you love and together realise sometimes peace and safety is a battle worth fighting and serving for and protecting.

Sincerely grateful to the men and women who fought and serve and continue to do so today. Bless you x

“They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

Laurence Binyon”
